The Attar White Table Lamp is made of ceramic with a crackling, falling glaze that will be slightly different from lamp to lamp. This is a complex treatment involving the application of a glaze that contracts at a different rate than the clay body during firing. As the glaze cools, a network of fine lines, or crazing, results. The textured, aged appearance is especially pronounced on the trio of hand-formed flowers that are applied to the lamp’s body. The soft-backed bell-shaped shade enhances the vintage feel.
